I just heard someone on the radio say they had a prediction for the future. Those are much trickier than predictions for the past.

I heard someone on the radio yesterday who said they weren’t wearing a stitch of makeup. I winced and wondered just what kind of makeup involved stitches.

They say “write with joy,” but I say if Joy doesn’t show up, start without her.
“Scrummy”?
I saw someone refer to food as “scrummy,” and I thought, ewww! Then I figured out it was short for scrumptious.
I still don’t like the word “scrummy,” though.

Not to mention any names, but a friend of mine recently confessed that she harbors mise en place fantasies.
Autocorrect changed that to “muse en place,” which also sounds useful for a writer.

I didn’t even know it was judging me in the first place.
